The Swain County Health Department provides many services to residents of Swain County and surrounding areas. The Health Department has a full- time staff consisting of the Health Director, Public Health Nurses, Environmental Health Specialists, Nutritionist, Health Educator, Social Workers, Health Check Coordinator, Management Support Staff and Family Nurse Practitioner.
