Commissioners Meet Twice A Month

The Swain County Board of Commissioners holds two regular meetings: one on the second Monday and one on the fourth Monday of each month (except that if a regular meeting day is a legal holiday, the meeting will be held on the following Monday). Meetings are held at the Swain County Administration Building and begin at 7:00 pm.

Requests to be placed on the Agenda
If you are interested in being placed on the agenda, you must complete an Agenda Request Form (pdf) and deliver it to the County Manager's office no later than Wednesday at 12 noon one week prior to the Tuesday meeting.

Public Comments
